Bob Hegyes is known to TV fans everywhere for his portrayal of Juan Epstein on "Welcome Back, Kotter." Hegyes went on to  star as Det. Manny Esposito on "Cagney and Lacey" and appear on numerous other television shows. He currently stars in the online series "The Venice Walk," which he created.

"Welcome Back" became a #1 hit in 1976 after John Sebastian wrote and performed it as the theme to "Welcome Back, Kotter." Sebastian is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work as the leader of The Lovin' Spoonful. His new album "Satisfied" (with David Grisman) was released on November 6.
